Sam Asghari: Britney Spears Might Perform Again

Britney Spears’ boyfriend, Sam Asghari, has sent the rumour mill into overdrive by hinting that the pop star will take to the stage again in the future.

The 27-year-old actor was responding to a question posed by an American media outlet on Wednesday, 18 August, and his response was: “Absolutely, man. Hopefully.”

The two have been dating since they first met on the set of Spears’ music video for “Slumber Party” in November 2016.

Last Friday, 13 August, the 39-year-old “Toxic” hitmaker scored a major legal victory when her father, Jamie Spears, stepped down as the guardian of her estate, ending a very public court case after 13 years of conservatorship.

In June, Spears admitted via Instagram Stories that she is unsure if she will return to live performances in the future, stating: “I have no idea. I’m having fun right now. I’m in a transition in my life and I’m enjoying myself, so that’s it.”

Considering she’s finally free of her father, Spears might just change her mind.
